MargaretOSTLE(née Althorp) Passed peacefully on Monday 11th March 2024, after a short period of ill health. A much-loved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a cherished friend. Margaret will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

A celebration of her life will take place at 2pm on Thursday 4th April at Southport Crematorium. Please join us, wearing a splash of purple.

We were lucky enough to work with Margaret for about 8 years, and she was a wonderful house mother, understanding the needs of young boys who all had deprived backgrounds. After the school closed I was lucky enough to share lots of lunches, and spend time with this gloriously funny, warm, intelligent lady for the next 40 years. RIP
